„Troubleshooting - Commissioning - Training“ were written at the P.O. of a big plant engineering company. They pleased us for support for commissioning a FFU-network with fans from ebmpapst with Modbus Interface at site and to train the operating staff afterwards.

After an address-conflict was eliminated in the FFU-network and no other abnormalities were found we did the programming of the uniqunet FFU-control device together with the end user. Now 3 FFU groups will be controlled according to the manufacturing process with different set-values in day/night mode.

Test Set-up for uniqunet PCBs

A new test device allows the automatic test of the uniqunet PCBs before commissioning.

• In detail, the following steps will be performed automatically, after the 24V (=) power supply is applied:
• - Test of all created voltages at the PCB,
• - Functionality test of all digital In- and Outputs and adjustment of the analogue inputs.

The testing device is linked to an HTML-Web-surface at a PC from where it is controlled. An Arduino Microcontroller is working on the test board and makes the data processing for the PC-software. After the tests have been successfully a PDF is created and stored automatically.

Replace a defective Siemens PLC of a swimming hall Automation

Corrosion and other environmental factors required the replacement of a S7-313 PLC and its OP7 operating interface by a S7-314 with a touch panel KTP 400 Comfort done by our PLC technicians in the following steps.

• - Transmission of the old step 7 program to the new PLC
• - Programming of the visualization in TIA Portal
• - link of Step7 project to visualization with TIA Portal
• - Reconstruction of all PLC components and the new panel to the existing switchboard

Batching Plant for Polyurethane

The latest PLC project of vbk technology is a batching plant with 2 or 3 components for Polyurethane.
Therefor a new SIEMENS S7-1200 CPU is applied with different LCD Touch panels.

• The special features of the project are:
• - recording of the pump duty line, that requires no additional sensor for the volume measurement
• - choose able operation mode - either installation stops after achieved setting or endless discharge
• - program is configurable for 2 or 3 components, therewith less maintenance efforts achieved

Lounges - uniqunet control device supports NICOTRA Gebhardt FFU

After a few years of absence the Cleanroom Lounges took place in Karlsruhe this year again. Personal highlight for me was the operation of a of an uniqunet control device driving an EC-fan of a NICOTRA Gebhardt ( former Gebhardt Ventilatoren ) FFU.

NICOTRA Gebhardt has been an OEM costumer for our control devices for years.
